It’s the month of March which indicates the arrival of beautiful springtime with trees blossoming and a sweet fragrance all around. But yeah! With all these beauties there is also the presence of BOARD EXAMS.
It doesn’t matter how hard you have studied for the boards all around the year, you can’t run off from the Board Exam Terror. And then you see there are many pamphlets on roads, walls, shops, everywhere, which guarantees “90% marks in just 4 weeks”. Or even some are like “we make donkeys to horses just a month before boards”.
All these kinds of things add up the fear in the mind of the students and also make the parents more panic. Even there are many houses where cables connections are being cut before boards, your favorite pizza and burgers are replaced by green veggies and dairy ‘milk’.
Stress does not come on its own it is that which you are the only one who creates it – when you start preparing late for your exams. The mild stress is beneficial than the excess ones as mild stress creates an urge to achieve something which gradually makes your performance best.
5 WAYS TO BEAT EXAM STRESS
Now to overcome the stress created here the following 5 tips;
1. EAT HEALTHY
Always take a balanced diet as it is very important for your health. Avoid the food which is loaded with the higher amount of fats, sugar, and caffeine such as burgers, pizzas, cold drinks, etc. which are responsible in making you irritable, moody and overactive. Don’t skip your breakfast in any situation as it provides the energy to you which is needed throughout the day.
2. GOOD SLEEP – GOOD EXAM
Good sleep will help in improving your thinking and concentration levels. You can watch half an hour your favorite program, play video games before going to bed as it will help you in getting a good sleep at night. Having a sleepless night is a very bad idea before the exam day as it will make you sleepy during the exam, you will be more panicked.
3. DO SOME PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
It is very helpful for you if you exercise and do some physical activity like walking or cycling just for 15 mins daily or playing an outdoor game. This will make you relaxed, feel fresh and active. Just by sitting on a chair in front of your book is not at all a good idea due to this you and your mind will get tired too early.
4. MAKE A SCHEDULE
You should always make a schedule for preparations as it will help you to manage your time with a particular subject. By doing all subjects in a single go will make you stressed as you won’t be thorough in any the topic and all the topics will get mixed. It’s better you should manage your timings for a subject.
5. BE POSITIVE
You should spend your time with those who have a positive effect. This will make a very positive influence on you. Always avoid negative thoughts such as “if I forget everything before the exam”. These negative ones should be replaced by “I will score good marks.
